Dissolve

Tulle, wool, and linen thread
Jefferson Market Library
New York, NY

2020

This Boundary Is Imaginary.
You Can Visualize The Pathway Through.
You Have The Agency To Allow It To Dissolve.

This site-specific work is part of my ongoing research to fuse the body, space, and visualization to access and transform energetic pathways. In the process of creating the work unconscious mental connections become visible and I gain new insights. My hope is that this energetic quality will ripple out and also occur for those who experience the work.

The textile is installed as a boundary at the bottom of a spiral staircase at Jefferson Market Library. If the viewer can visualize their passage through they move upwards. The purpose of this is to unlock access to the ability to utilize visualization to progress.
